I find ...Wow, talk about pushing our conversation! I find it really hard to be approached by someone. Seeing his/her face beings out all sorts of emotions: sadness at the circumstances, worry that he/she will get desperate/demanding, doubt that the store is all true...<br /><br />Of course, you couldn't say yes to that. It's so hard that there was nothing else to offer (as in the soup kitchens and shelters were full). It's a reminder that those organizations definitely need our donations of money and time. <br /><br />Even though you didn't think of it in time, you're ready in the future to offer a seat at Mass if you're met with a similar situation.
